Title: Corporate Supplier Quality Manager
Onsite: Wausau region
Travel up to 25% (mostly day trips)
Looking for a leader, reporting to the Director of Quality, to manage supplier quality compliance for ingredients and packaging, ensuring adherence to company and regulatory food safety standards. The position oversees supplier approvals, collaborates on labeling and identity preservation initiatives, and drives strategic improvements in supplier performance across multiple sites.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven tenure in a role/organization- 4+ years at a company
- Associates Degree or higher with 7+ years of progressive experience in Quality
- Experience leading cross functional, continuous improvement projects/processes
- Food or packaging manufacturing experience
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead supplier preventive control programs and conduct audits to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
- Oversee supplier audit schedules, documentation, and manage the approved supplier list.
- Communicate audit results and collaborate with teams to mitigate food safety risks.
- Continuously improve supplier verification programs, aligning with regulatory requirements and company procedures.
