Seeking a talented Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) manager to continue a culture of safety for employees, visitors, and contractors, as well as the company's compliance with environmental regulations.
About the Role:
In this role you will develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs to ensure the safety of the workplace and the environment while building strong safety focused culture.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with leadership and employees to ensure Safety is the at the foremost of what we do everyday.
- Ensure required records, permits, and reports are maintained and prepared according to established guidelines by company, local, state, and federal agencies.
- Implement and advise others on all hazard control programs.
- Perform and document job hazard analysis, and coordinate activities to ensure corrective and preventative actions are implemented.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis of work-related injuries, illnesses, and near misses.
- Monitor medical incident reports from providers and works with Human Resources on workers compensation and return to work programs.
- Perform applicable internal audits and inspections of facility and operations.
- Train and lead Emergency Response Teams and lead the Site Safety Committee.
- Provides the facility with technical expertise in managing Policy and Procedures, LOTO, Inspections and Audits.
Qualifications:
BS in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Safety Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Required Skills:
5+ years of EHS Manager experience in manufacturing environment.
Thorough knowledge of safety standards, methodologies, and regulations, including OSHA, ANSI, EPA, and NFPA.
