JOB DESCRIPTION
The Enterprise Technology Specialist will play a crucial role in optimizing and maintaining the networking infrastructure and peripheral devices across our Dillion's retail locations. This role requires a strong understanding of retail operations, networking principles, project management skills, and expertise in managing peripheral equipment such as POS terminals, scanners, printers, and digital signage. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, performance, and seamless integration of peripheral devices with our network infrastructure, ultimately enhancing the overall customer experience.
Responsible for the technology infrastructure within enterprise locations. Drive technology policies and standards to ensure service level guidelines are met, and the overall technology outcomes are delivered on time and within budget. Foster communication and collaboration by supporting the Technology Leader in the role as the technology ambassador. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee overall technology deployments from end to end spanning multiple disciplines
- Provide direction and partnership for project completion within each discipline to manage hardware installations, budget(s), vendor partnerships, milestones, and enterprise rollout schedules
- Drive service level agreement (SLA) achievement and scope of work (SOW) for technology maintenance providers
- Communicate with business stakeholders and vendor partners to monitor progress and opportunities that require action
- Collaborate with technology partners to ensure systems are operating at the defined standards to create successful outcomes for our enterprise locations
- Support and provide guidance to local leadership ensuring all facets of technology implementations are provided within enterprise standards
- Continuously develop efficiencies that enable process improvement, change management, and growth within enterprise locations
- Capture annual infrastructure refresh needs, manage expenses, and identify cost savings
-Implement networking solutions tailored to the unique needs of our retail environment.
-Manage the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of networking hardware and software, ensuring alignment with business goals.
-Monitor and maintain the health and performance of the network, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
-Manage peripheral equipment inventory, including procurement, deployment, and retirement.
-Coordinate with vendors and service providers to procure peripheral equipment and services and managing vendor relationships.
-Develop and maintain documentation related to network configurations, peripheral equipment inventory, and standard operating procedures.
-Provide training and support to store personnel on network-related topics and peripheral equipment usage, ensuring a high level of proficiency and awareness.
-Lead networking and peripheral equipment-related projects from inception to completion, managing timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum
- 2+ years of experience in supporting a specific technology domain or system
- Any proven administrative and project management skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of technology infrastructure, systems, procedures, and project life cycles
- Advanced communication skills to effectively share information with business leaders and stakeholders
- Ability to articulate technology information to all levels of the organization

-Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in retail operations, networking, project management, and peripheral equipment management.
-Strong understanding of networking principles and technologies, including LAN/WAN, wireless networks, and security protocols.
-Expertise in managing peripheral equipment such as POS terminals, scanners, printers, and digital signage.
-Experience working in a retail environment, with knowledge of retail-specific networking requirements, challenges, and peripheral equipment needs.
-Proven project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results on time and within budget.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
-Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a customer-centric mindset.
