Position: Data Analyst
Location: Sunnyvale, California (Hybrid 2 days per week)
Contract: 1 Year (Extension Likely)
Pay Rate: $50-$60/HR DOE
About the Role:
A Cloud Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing large and
complex datasets using cloud-based platforms and tools. The successful candidate will have
a strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and data visualization
techniques, as well as experience with cloud computing platforms such as GCP, OCI, and/or
AWS.
Responsibilities:
● Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using cloud-based
technologies.
● Design & build feature-rich dashboards while utilizing Looker and other main tools such as
Google DataStudio and Tableau.
● Work with business stakeholders to wireframe dashboards to convey detailed insights in the
most compelling manner.
● Develop and implement data models to support data analysis and reporting.
● Use data visualization tools to create dashboards and reports that effectively communicate
insights to stakeholders.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define metrics, and deliver
data-driven solutions.
● Troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
● Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in cloud data analytics.
● Assist to streamline the processes of collecting, integrating, analyzing and conveying insights
to improve business decision making
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related
field.
● 5+ years of experience in data analysis, data engineering, or a related role.
● Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehousing concepts and technologies.
● Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python or R.
● Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
● Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
