Are you an experienced Construction Project Manager with a passion for leading impactful water resource projects? My client is seeking a talented professional to join their team in the Greater Indianapolis area, managing critical projects that contribute to sustainable water management and infrastructure development.
Position Overview:
As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of water resource projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, and stakeholders, to ensure project goals are met and client expectations are exceeded.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Management: Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of water resource projects, including stormwater management, wastewater treatment, and other related infrastructure projects.
- Budget & Cost Control: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met. Monitor costs and implement cost-saving measures where possible.
- Team Leadership: Oversee project teams, including subcontractors and vendors. Provide guidance, direction, and support to ensure high-quality work and project success.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, regulatory agencies, and community members. Ensure clear and timely communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and outcomes.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all work complies with industry standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular site inspections to verify project progress and quality.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 4-7+ years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on water resource projects preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Certifications: PMP, CCM, or similar certifications are a plus.
- Location: Must be willing to work in the Greater Indianapolis area.
