Position: Mortgage Document Reviewer
Location: Fort Worth, TX (Onsite)
Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm CST
Job Description
Requires excellent organization skills and must be able to perform physical activities in a vaulted area.
Manages documentation and processing of collateral for a moderate to complex portfolio of loans and/or performs moderate to complex functions within a sub-unit, while meeting expectations of the Bank and internal and external customers.
Responsible for the daily management and reconciliation of custodial reporting of Mortgage Finance clients.
Responsible for identifying, researching and resolving routine discrepancies in their daily work activities as well as performing weekly audits.
All customer requests received within established cut-off times must be processed on same business day.
Responsibilities:
- Log in the receipt of, perform audit, manage inventory and process shipment of collateral files for loans funded on our warehouse lines by our customers – 50% of time
- Researching and responding to Loan Status Requests, Verification of Mortgages and other requests from outside companies and departments within the Bank.– 30% of time
- Update for clients on company systems the status of each collateral file, and maintain related records – 5% of time
- Prepare or assist in preparing any necessary documents – 5% of time
- Coordinate the receipt and transfer of assets with various internal and external parties – 5% of time
- Responding to standard inquiries from bankers or external customers about loans – 5% of time
Desired Experience:
- 1 to 3 years related experience preferred
- Knowledge of mortgage collateral
- Knowledge of collateral tracking systems
- Knowledge of operational/administrative functions/techniques associated with loan data research, input and document interpretation
