We are looking for an experienced Research Scientist to join an exciting and rapidly growing immunology/immuno-oncology startup company in Philadelphia, PA! Prospective candidates must have oncology and/or immunology drug discovery experience and immunology assays experience (cytotoxicity, MSD, etc).
Overview: You will be responsible for designing and executing in vitro pharmacology assays to support functional validation of lead molecules. You will be expected to generate scientific technical reports to support regulatory filings. The applicant should have knowledge of cancer biology.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proficient at the following assays/techniques:
- Cell culture of tumor cell lines and T cells (PBMCs/PAN-T)
- Multi-color Flow cytometry/FACs to analyze tumor and/or T cell antigen surface expression, binding curves, receptor quantification
- T cell mediated cytotoxicity assays using Incucyte/Satorius and/or Cell Titer Glo assay systems
- MSD/Luminex for measuring cytokine production
- Familiar with FlowJo for FACs analysis
- Familiar with MSD analysis
- Mammalian cell culture
- Ability to analyze data independently and construct graphs in GraphPad/Prism or Excel
- Ability to present data/key findings in Microsoft Power Point format, construct slides in a clear coherent manner
- BS or MS in relevant biologic sciences or cell biology with 1-4 years prior laboratory experience in a drug discovery setting
