A leading engineering firm in the North Houston area is seeking an experienced Project Administrator to join their team. Starting compensation $70,000 - $85,000 depending on experience.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a project or administrative role for a construction, engineering, architecture, or related field
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years' experience working in project software (i.e., Bluebeam, Procore, Kahua)
Responsibilities:
- Understand and follow program-specific requirements and reporting
- Develop and implement electronic document management systems
- Serve as administrator for the SharePoint-based Project Management Information System (PMIS) and construction management software platform (Kahua)
- Train new users in use of document management systems
- Support program management by creating monthly reports detailing information from Kahua
- Implement improvements to PMIS and/or Kahua to help improve functionality for the program
- Support staff with project and construction administration activities (deliverable tracking and reporting, managing submittals, action item logs, meeting minutes, agendas, etc.)
- Support staff with funding program reporting (progress reports, reimbursement applications, etc.)
- Provide other administrative support as needed
