We are seeking a proactive and experienced Product Manager to join our Software Technology Solutions R&D team. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for driving and leading the long-term product vision, strategy, roadmap, and solution definition for our could base Device Management and Over the Air update product. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, aligning features with measurable outcomes that bring value to our customers. Additionally, you will collaborate with various teams to understand clinical, legal, regulatory, and customer support requirements, ensuring product readiness and implementing a plan for regular releases.
This is an ideal role for a technical product manager or software engineer with a background in Device lifecycle, IoT, data analytics, and software as a service experience who is familiar with utilizing APIs to provision, configure, operate, integrate, and expand the product. The successful candidate will be looked to by the team as the product’s subject matter expert, possessing both a solid command of the technology solution and architecture, and a detailed understanding of the business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Vision & Leadership: Provide strategic vision and direction to the product owner and scrum team throughout the product lifecycle.
- Requirements Definition & Analysis: Develop crisp product and feature scope documents that can be used to drive product specifications and architecture, ensuring a clear understanding of product objectives and priorities for the product owner and development team.
- Backlog Management: Work with the product owner to prepare and prioritize the product backlog to ensure efficient workflow and alignment with the product vision and business value.
- Stakeholder Communication: Keep clients and collaborators informed on product status and lead product release plans, setting expectations for new functionalities.
- Strategic Planning: Research market trends, user needs, and competitors to inform product requirements; define and drive business strategies based on comprehensive analysis.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside hardware and software teams, manage customer experience trade-offs, and proactively resolve issues to deliver quality products on time.
