Job Title: Network Technician
Location: San Diego, CA 92123
Job Type: Direct Hire, 100% Onsite
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8 am - 5 pm
Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in computer networks and IT solutions, particularly within a Value-Added Reseller (VAR) setting.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to support the sales team with RFP/Bid responses, scope estimations, and hardware/software configurations.
- Certification in Cisco CCNA or CCNP is mandatory; additional certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, Ruckus, Fortinet, Intel, Citrix, VMware, or other top vendors are a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and install advanced network routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Deploy and optimize Windows-based workstations and servers, including Microsoft Exchange Server.
- Provide expert end-user support for LAN-based applications, including VoIP systems.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues proactively.
- Maintain detailed documentation of policies, procedures, and system configurations.
- Manage Windows servers, including Active Directory and Group Policies, as well as Windows 10/11 workstations.
- Implement and manage remote connection solutions and backup systems.
