Compensation: $30-34/hr during temporary period | $68,000-70,000 permanent salary
Our client, a national non-profit public health organization, is seeking a Contracts Coordinator to join their team! This role will work within the publishing arm of the organization, tracking, executing, archiving, auditing, and disseminating executed institutional licenses/contracts to all concerned parties. The ideal candidate will pick up new skills easily, take ownership of their work, and build trusting relationships with internal and external collaborators.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contract Management: Support the entire contract lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with organizational policies and legal standards.
- Negotiation: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external parties to negotiate favorable terms and conditions for contracts, agreements, and procurement processes.
- License Documentation: Prepare, review, and maintain licensing documents, amendments, and other related records, ensuring proper documentation and filing systems are in place for easy retrieval and reference.
- Compliance Monitoring: Monitor compliance within contract terms, reporting requirements, and regulatory obligations, and address any issues or discrepancies promptly.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and assess potential risks associated with contracts and agreements and develop strategies to mitigate risks while maximizing opportunities for the organization and its partners.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain trusting relationships with internal departments, publishing partners, and all key decision-makers, including but not limited to government agencies, academic institutions, healthcare facilities, and international government entities.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, public health, or a related field required.
- 2 years + experience in contract administration with a non-profit or public health organization preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively to diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with or the ability to comprehend complex legal language.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong judgement and the ability to ensure interests of numerous parties are met with integrity.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required; working knowledge of Smartsheet preferred.
