Skills Alliance are representing a Global leading Pharmaceutical group in their search for an experienced supply chain Leader based out of Pennsylvania, United states.
About the Role:
As the Head of Supply Chain, you will oversee purchasing, logistics, strategy planning, and change management. You will lead a team of 10 senior managers located across North America. This role will require travel to our logistics centers in Florida. Previous team management experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Oversee procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, sales, and finance, to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
- Analyze supply chain performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Manage relationships with key suppliers and logistics partners to ensure reliability and quality.
- Lead and mentor the supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in supply chain operations.
