Position Summary:
Repairs all mechanical breakdowns, performs PM’s, installation of equipment and general maintenance duties for ride dynamics products (primarily off-road vehicles and trucks).
Position Responsibilities:
- Use an electrical meter for basics such as checking voltage and ohms
- Wire in three phase motors, receptacles and sensors.
- Trouble shoot electrical issues – blown fuses, worn sensors, bad relays, servo motors and circuit boards.
- Knowledge of mechanical/electrical repair practices.
- Diagnose pneumatic / hydraulic systems.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skill.
- Knowledge of CNC machine design and operation.
- Proficient to advances fabrication abilities.
- Helps install new equipment with the direction of engineering / layouts.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills on all types of production equipment for worn / misaligned tooling and mechanical failures.
- Knowledge of and experience with electrical test equipment, electrical and mechanical systems.
- Safely driving a forklift carrying machinery and heavy loads at ground and elevated levels.
- Ensure that all safety requirements and LOTO are followed at all time.
- Proficient operation of a manual mill and lathe to repair or make tooling.
- Precisely operate a drill press, horizontal and vertical band saw, buffers / sanders.
- Must maintain a minimum of 90% compliance rate on assigned PM’s.
- Ability to read part manual, electrical and mechanical schematics, assembly instruction and troubleshooting guides.
Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:
- Ability to perform a minimum of 95% of all the assembly PM’s in the facility.
- CMMS must log at a minimum of 90% of all worked hours in PM’s, planned and unplanned work orders for a period of no less than 3 consecutive months
- Able to use all types of gauges – pressure, calipers, depth, etc.
- Familiar with PLC–based controller/interface machinery.
- Demonstrated ability to meet demanding deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a team member to accomplish objectives.
- Must be a proficient FOX Level 3 Maintenance Technician.
- Communication, interpersonal and organizational skill.

Position Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or trade school equivalent
Previous manufacturers training is required.
Experience:
6+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated ability in industrial maintenance required
Must have a very broad background in hydraulics/pneumatics/electrical and mechanical skills

Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time
Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer
