They are looking to hire a Project Accountant for a confidential mega project in Byhalia to support with managing financial records, overseeing budgets, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations specific to the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements and reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and project-specific financial reports.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and monitor project budgets, working closely with project managers to track costs and ensure budget adherence.
- Project Cost Accounting: Manage and allocate costs to specific projects, ensuring accurate job costing and profitability analysis.
- Compliance and Auditing: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry-specific laws.
- Payroll Management: Process payroll for construction site employees and office staff, including calculation of overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
- Tax Preparation and Filing: Prepare and file construction-related taxes, including sales tax, property tax, and other applicable taxes.
- Software and System Management: Utilize accounting software and project management tools to maintain financial data.
