Law Office Administrator (Anchorage)
Our small family law firm needs an Office Administrator. We are located off Abbott Road, near the Seward Highway. The position needs to be mostly on-site, but for the right candidate, the work environment can be somewhat flexible.
Some administrative experience, including light bookkeeping is required. Law office experience is a big bonus. Training will be available for the right person.
We recently transitioned to cloud-based Document Management (Net Docs), Practice Management (ZenCase), and Billing software (QBO), so we will all be learning together. We need someone who can master these complex systems, add to our P&P manual, and help train new hires.
Qualified candidates will have the following skills and attributes:
• Office experience
• Experience with QuickBooks. Ability to learn how QBOnline interacts with our practice management software.
• Proficiency in MS Office/Office 365
• Calendar management experience
• Ability to track accounts and ensure timely client payments. A/R collection where necessary
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with staff and clients
• Responsible management of confidential information
• Ability to supervise an assistant (in the future)
• Basic familiarity with social media marketing (We need someone to be the point person for website updates and marketing. This is optional but it is an example of the possibilities to gain experience and exercise creativity.)
