Summary:
Capstone IT is seeking a Threat Analyst for our client, an advanced cloud and hybrid cybersecurity provider. This full-time, onsite role in Omaha, Nebraska, involves hunting for and responding to malicious activities in client IT environments to prevent cyber-attacks. Our client specializes in the enablement and optimization of XDR platforms and managed security services, including Managed Detection and Response (MDR), Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM), and ongoing XDR platform management. Ideally, candidates will have experience with Azure Sentinel (SIEM and SOAR). The company operates exclusively within the Microsoft ecosystem.

Responsibilities:
Perform exposure and threat hunting across multiple client environments.
Respond to security alerts and document investigation results.
Develop queries and investigative capabilities based on threat intelligence.
Create and deliver client reports with findings and recommendations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity or related field, or equivalent experience.
Practical experience in threat investigations and/or incident response.
Understanding of common attack vectors and threat intelligence.
Experience with Azure Sentinel (SIEM and SOAR).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
