Richards, Watson & Gershon (“RWG”) invites candidates with 0+ years of litigation experience to apply for a position representing public agencies, primarily, as part of our Litigation Department. RWG is a 70-year-old law firm, and a leader in the practice of public agency law. The successful candidate will be writing and arguing dispositive motions, taking and defending depositions, preparing and responding to written discovery, and representing cities in municipal code enforcement actions RWG litigators work on some of the most complex and important issues affecting Californians today, including CEQA, municipal code enforcement, water rights, constitutional and civil rights issues, and labor and employment. Candidates must have excellent academic credentials, California Bar membership, superior research and writing skills and a commitment to professional excellence. Candidates will be considered for the Firm’s Los Angeles, Brea, and San Luis Obispo offices.
The salary range for this position is $138,500 – $195,000 and represents the Firm’s best estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation offered will depend upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, years of experience, familiarity with relevant subject matters, litigation skill set, and business origination.
