Genius Talent has partnered with a leading healthcare provider to recruit an Obstetrics Clinical Nurse Educator. This expert clinician and educator will focus on advancing nursing practice, onboarding, and ongoing education for staff. In collaboration with the unit director and nursing team, the educator will monitor and enhance clinical care to improve patient outcomes. Serving as a role model, patient advocate, and change agent, the educator will ensure that evidence-based practices are effectively implemented and understood by the care team.
Responsibility:
- Apply the nursing process (Assessment, Planning, Intervention, Evaluation) in clinical practice, education, competency validation, and program development.
- Model nursing processes for staff providing direct patient care.
- Provide clinical consultation and direct patient care to improve care processes.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement and reinforce evidence-based practices among the patient care team.
Requirements:
- BSN required, master’s degree in a related nursing field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Obstetrics Department.
- Current RN license in Virginia or ability to obtain licensure within 60 days of hire.
