Robert Half's Legal Division is immediately seeking a Pre-Litigation Attorney for one of their dynamic clients in the Chicago Loop. The ideal candidate would have at least one year of Personal Injury experience, and be comfortable operating in a Hybrid working environment.
Duties of this position include but are not limited to:
- Providing legal counsel to clients and closing cases within standard time frame
- Directing the activities of assigned team to handle case management from inception to completion
- Overseeing assigned case management team to monitor performance and ensure quality work
- Performing pre-litigation and occasional litigation work
- Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
- Communicateing and managing relationships with clients and opposing counsel
- Fully investigating cases and document findings
- Negotiating the most favorable settlements for clients
- Examining medical evidence
- Maintaining regular contact with clients
- Spearheading Lien resolution
- Preparing demands
