Vallum Associates is collaborating with a solar developer seeking a Director of Solar Development to join their dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Drive greenfield development and project M&A opportunities, including solar and hybrid projects.
- Lead project origination and evaluate new opportunities.
- Oversee and report on project schedules, budgets, contracts, and pipelines.
- Research and identify potential acquisition targets.
- Support project due diligence, deal structuring, and closing processes.
- Manage development activities such as land acquisition, interconnection, permitting, regulatory approvals, and tax abatements, while aiding project off take strategies.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in utility-scale PV solar project development.
- Proven track record in ERCOT/Southeast regions.
- Strong expertise in due diligence, origination, and title curative matters.
