A leading Investment manager is looking for Senior Counsel to a join a growing global legal team working directly with the Head of Legal. The desired background includes registered funds/investment management experience with additional experience handling regulatory and compliance matters. This role involves analyzing a range of legal and regulatory issues and advising the firm’s investment professionals.
Qualifications
- Experience at a Top Law Firm in the Investment Management or Asset Management group
- 4+ year's experience, with start up or in-house or financial services exposure ideally
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, an eye for detail, registered fund experience, and the ability to identify and analyze regulatory and compliance issues
- Experienced in 1940 Act filings and Corporate Governance
- J.D. Top Law School
Role: Senior Counsel
Comp: $225k - $275k/y on the base
Work Model: Hybrid, 3 days in office 2 days WFH
