Job Description:
The role will support a team responsible for the overhaul of numerous MRO Process Plans and the development of the applicable supporting documentation for Production Part Approval Process and other process control documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review / Complete all Production Part Approval Processes for Aftermarket Operations
- Review and comprehend technical data
- Identify Key Product Characteristics (KPCs)
- Process Flow Diagrams (PFD)
- Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFEMA)
- Measurement System Analysis
- First Article Inspection
- Review / Complete Process Certifications
- Cpk Study
- Impact Maturity Reviews
- Supplier, Input, Process Output, Customer (SIPOC) analysis
- Control Plan
- Support Work Instruction / Process Plan overhauls
- Utilizing outputs from PPAP to drive improvements to current Process Plans
Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Technical Field with a minimum of 5 years' experience working process certification / control in a manufacturing setting.
•Process management / statistical process control / data analysis / analysis of variance / design of experiment / process risk analysis / PPAP / FMEA, control plans, root cause analysis experience required.
•Proficiency on the computer with Microsoft Office / O365.
•Able to interpret manufacturing drawings and 3D models.
•Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, experience with Kaizen events or experience with a continuous improvement program (6s, etc.).
Six-sigma green belt certification preferred but not required.
Preferred Qualifications
•10 years' experience with process certification / control in a manufacturing setting.
•FAA Repair Station experience.
•Experience with maintenance, repair and overhaul of aerospace components.
•Experience with composite material repair and / or manufacturing
