Summary:
The position is responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth distribution and maintenance processes. This includes scheduling work, overseeing maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The role requires strong communication with internal and external stakeholders and performing both operational and maintenance tasks. Additionally, it involves planning cost-improvement strategies and maintaining records for inventory, equipment, and capital improvements.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in cement or related distribution industry preferred.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with various personnel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and Cement Distribution Management systems.
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude with a knowledge of computer systems.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to troubleshoot and operate computerized control systems; PLC knowledge is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Capable of performing maintenance tasks at heights (e.g., 100 feet silos).
