JOB DESCRIPTION: Project Manager –On-Site Customer Representative
Job Summary
Critical role responsible for fostering effective communication between partner companies, ensuring aligned objectives and promptly addressing issues and concerns to maintain a strong, collaborative and successful long-term relationship. Responsible for relaying information, managing expectations/objectives, and facilitating discussions between teams
Experience Requirements
- Technical background: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (desired)
- 4-8 years in Aerospace Industry; International Business Relationship experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, cultural awareness, and deep understanding of development and production projects as well as insights into the aerospace and defense industry
- Ability to write and read, understand advanced manuals, instructions, and process documents
- Ability to conduct professional conversations and produce, participate in and host presentations and meetings
- Strong Problem-Solving skills; experience in Project Management, Contracts and Negotiation, Business Acumen, Cross-Culture Communication; Familiarity with Aerospace and Defense industry
- Adaptability and Flexibility, Self-Motivation and Independence
- Diplomacy, Tact and Professionalism: Ability to navigate sensitive situations and communicate in a way that maintains goodwill between both companies.
- Proficient in MS Office packages
- U.S. Citizen required
Assignment Details
- Start Date: Immediately upon Customer Approval
- Duration: 6 Months Plus
- Shift: First [3 Visits/Week]
- 2 Week Customer Training in Sweden with periodic follow-up visits
- Location: Seattle, WA
