An MSP client of ours based in Wenatchee, WA is looking for a Field Service Technician that ideally has previous MSP experience or has supported multiple end users with multiple locations. You will need to be local to Wenatchee/Leavenworth/Chelan/Cashmere/Moses Lake as this is a fully on-site role with a fair amount of travel (50-75%) in the Wenatchee area or within a couple hours drive (all mileage covered by the company).
Key Responsibilities:
• Setup and install workstations. Support client transfer of data and software.
• Efficiently troubleshoot and resolve workstation hardware and software issues, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
• Setup, install and troubleshoot network equipment (firewalls, switches, access points).
• Uphold stringent security protocols to protect networks from threats and vulnerabilities.
Must haves:
- At least 2 years of experience in some form of technical support role (depending on skill level)
- Strong experience within Windows OS & Server administration (2012 – 2022)
- Experience with basic network administration – switches, access points, firewalls
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience supporting multiple end users with multiple locations or experience at an MSP
Nice to haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
- Experience in an MSP environment is strongly preferred
- Current Microsoft cloud or Azure certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate) or ability to obtain certification within the first 6 months of employment.
