Techno is seeking a Project Manager/Assistant Project Manager to join our corporate team in our New York, NY office. In this role you will assist with the program management of multiple projects, managing various internal operations. Project involvement will begin in the initial planning stages, communicating with project team and subcontractors, through completion to assure that projects meet internal and external requirements and are within cost limitations.
Job Description:
- Monitor progress of projects to ensure adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Manage project teams consisting of construction management staff, subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Create reports detailing the status of projects and highlighting any potential issues that may arise.
- Evaluate Resource Planning
- Effectively supervise the on-site team and provide guidance and support throughout the project life cycle.
- Ensure sound administration and communication flow between the project team and other related parties (internal and external).
- Review technical documentation, such as project schedules, specifications, and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Keep track of Project Schedule/progress and communicate project team.
- Establish contingency plans on critical activities.
Requirements:
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) License Required.
- 8+ years of experience in leadership roles.
- Prior experience with design a plus.
- Prior experience in program-level and project-level management for infrastructure projects.
