Job Title: Senior Project Manager with OCM Experience
Job Summary:
We are seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager with a strong background in Organizational Change Management (OCM) to oversee and execute complex projects while ensuring successful change implementation. The ideal candidate will possess extensive project management experience, a deep understanding of change management principles, and the ability to guide organizations through transitions effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage large-scale, complex projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and timeline requirements.
- Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Monitor project progress and performance, adjusting as necessary to keep projects on track.
- Ensure effective communication between all project teams and stakeholders.
- Organizational Change Management:
- Develop and implement change management strategies to support the successful adoption of new processes, technologies, or organizational changes.
- Conduct impact assessments to identify and address areas affected by change.
- Design and deliver change management initiatives, including communication plans, training programs, and support materials.
- Act as a change champion, guiding stakeholders through the change process and addressing resistance.
- Engage with key stakeholders to gather requirements, address concerns, and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to communicate project status, changes, and benefits.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Risk and Issue Management:
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Proactively address potential roadblocks and provide solutions to keep projects on course.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and present regular project status reports, including progress updates, risk assessments, and change management activities.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of project plans, change management processes, and lessons learned.
- Lead and mentor project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables and change management activities are executed effectively.
- Evaluate project and change management processes and outcomes to identify areas for improvement.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging methodologies in project management and change management.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in project management, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of project management experience, with at least 3-5 years focused on Organizational Change Management in complex environments.
- Skills:
- Proven expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
- Strong knowledge of change management principles and practices.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle shifting priorities.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA) and change management tools.
Certifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is required.
- Certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) is highly preferred.
