The ideal candidate will be responsible for...
- Prioritizing assignments and preparing sensitive and detailed correspondence, such as responses to requests for information or regularly recurring reports
- Preparing routine, as well as non-routine, correspondence, legal documents, forms, presentations, and the like using advanced knowledge and skills with word processing related and other software programs; efficiently proofreading and editing text for grammatical and typographical errors, and occasionally for content
- Supporting the billing process to include management of time-entry, data review and correction, final submission to meet all Firm-required deadlines, maintenance of billing records, and research of disputes and discrepancies
- Managing various client-driven activities, such as conflict checks and waivers, engagement letters, and business development initiatives
- Scheduling appointments, making travel and/or meeting arrangements, process expense reports, and maintaining business calendars as instructed
- Effectively establishing and maintaining well organized files, while managing the integrity of original client documents in various formats, such as hardcopy, electronic, and various eRoom platforms

- A minimum of two plus years prior relevant work experience within a law firm or professional services environment is required
- Prior experience working within Trusts & Estates practice areas
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite, including advanced use of MS Word (redlining, comparing documents, advanced formatting, TOA creation and manipulation, and insertion of hyperlinks)
- Familiarity with document management systems
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
