A non-profit community health plan in New York City is currently seeking an experienced professional to join their growing team as their new VP of IT.
Responsibilities:
The Vice President of IT will:
- Lead the development and execution of the IT strategic plan and roadmap in support of the enterprise strategy.
- Service as a member of the senior team and provide expert counsel and guidance on a variety of issues from an IT network, systems and data perspective
- Oversee technology infrastructure, critical information, and data perspective
- Develops and Implements IT strategies, policies, procedures, and best practices
- Effectively manages IT vendor relationships to foster strong partnerships, strategic alignment and value. Maximizes the effectiveness of the existing systems by assessing, evaluating and making recommendations as applicable while being financially prudent.
- Leads effort to identify new technological needs and develop solutions that enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- 15+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience in a leadership role managing staff and leading teams
- Healthcare managed care experience required
- Strong project management skills
- Strong understanding of application system infrastructure, system, and concepts in an enterprise.
- Demonstrated enablement of the design, development, and implementation of complex solutions by understanding data ecosystem for a healthcare organization
