Job Title: Program Manager – Data Center/ADO
Location: Hybrid Role: In-person 1 to 2 day a week
Engagement Duration: Typically 12-18 Months

Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 5-7 years of experience in program management, data center delivery, and stakeholder management.
- 2+ years working at Microsoft as FTE or Contractor, with a 6-month break since your last engagement
- Technical Skills:
- 5-7 years of experience working with Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira, or Rally for backlog management.
- Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure and delivery projects.
- Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to lead workshops and facilitate stakeholder discussions.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams in a fast-paced environment.
Purpose of the Team:
The team works closely with the AI delivery group and collaborates across various organizational pillars to optimize and scale data center delivery.
Key Projects:
- Process optimization and prioritization (stack ranking).
- Collaboration with engineering teams to refine requirements and write business requirement documents (BRDs) and scenarios.
- Managing the backlog in Azure DevOps (ADO), supporting requirement refinement, and delivering on the business roadmap in partnership with stakeholders.
Task Breakdown and Operating Rhythm:
- 50% Meetings and Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders to align solutions, clarify requirements, and facilitate discussions.
- 50% System Analysis and Documentation:
- Develop and maintain business requirement documents (BRDs).
- Manage and prioritize the ADO backlog.
- Translate business needs into technical requirements and actionable plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution: Lead planning, execution, and delivery of AI-focused data center projects, ensuring alignment with Microsoft’s strategic goals.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and collaboration across teams.
- Backlog Management: Manage the ADO backlog, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely delivery of critical milestones.
- Requirement Documentation: Create detailed business requirement documents, refine technical requirements, and align solutions with business roadmaps.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering teams and other business units to drive projects forward and resolve blockers.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for optimizing processes and implement best practices to streamline delivery and enhance efficiency.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
