JOB OVERVIEW:
We're working with a growing New York-based MSP to hire a Head of IT Manager Services. As a Head of IT Managed Services, you will be responsible for our Solutions Engineering and Strategic Advisory Programs, ensuring that we’re delivering the right technologies to clients and ensuring they align to our standards. This is a critical role reporting to our Chief Strategy Officer and closely partnering with our Deputy Director of Client Management who is responsible for our Technical Account Managers.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
- 10+ Years of technology services experience, including 3+ Years as a vCIO or Solutions Architect.
- 5+ Years of Management Experience at a Technology Services Provider.
- Experience implementing and/or architecting network infrastructure such as Switches, Wireless, Firewalls, and WAN Connectivity.
- Experience implementing and/or architecting server/cloud infrastructure such as VMware, Windows Servers, Azure, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace.
- Experience with design of IT infrastructure plans for new office builds is a plus.
- Experience developing OPEX and CAPEX budgets.
- Project Management Certifications (CAPM, PMP) are a plus!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Management of a set of Strategic Advisors who are assigned to clients, acting as an escalation point or stand-in as necessary for strategic assessments and sales engineering activities.
- Maintain and continuously improve our procedures for delivery of quotes/proposals and assessments to Clients and Prospects.
- Develop new programs for advisory services, which may include staff technology training, cybersecurity advisory services, and education technology assessments.
- Ownership of Product and Solution Catalog, ensuring that products in the catalog are accurate and Client Strategy/Sales Staff are aware of what to quote and when.
- Establish and nurture relationships with our critical vendors and complete ongoing reviews (at least annually) to ensure they are providing the right solutions to clients at the right price.
- In partnership with the Product Automation and Innovation Team, develop new client-facing solutions, including vendor selection, pricing, and internal/client-facing training.
- Complete ongoing training for internal staff on our solution catalog.
- Develop expertise in client-specific industries and provide guidance on best practices with regards to applications and associated systems/workflows.
This role will be on a hybrid basis in Brooklyn. We have a base salary up to $160,000.
