LHH is seeking a Junior Supply Chain Analyst for a direct hire position in Charlotte, NC! The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a desire to grow in the supply chain field. This position is fully onsite Monday - Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in gathering and analyzing data on inventory levels, procurement, transportation, and warehouse operations to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (procurement, operations, logistics) to ensure the timely delivery of goods and materials.
- Support the preparation of reports and dashboards that track key supply chain metrics, including inventory turnover, order fulfillment, and supplier performance.
- Assist in forecasting demand and supply needs based on historical data and market trends.
- Identify and resolve supply chain issues, such as delays, shortages, and cost variances, with guidance from senior analysts or the supply chain manager.
- Participate in supplier performance evaluations and contribute to recommendations for process improvements.
- Monitor and update inventory systems to maintain accurate records of stock levels and order status.
- Support supply chain projects, including process improvements, cost-saving initiatives, and new supplier onboarding.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations related to procurement and logistics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or a related role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
- Familiarity with supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
