Job Purpose
Plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and safety of equipment, facilities, and assets by conducting inspections, assessments, and providing technical expertise.

Key Accountabilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as required.
- Develops and executes inspection plans for equipment, pipelines, and facilities.
- Ensures compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Ensures the integrity and reliability of critical assets, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Performs risk assessments and implements integrity management programs.
- Analyzes inspection data to make recommendations for maintenance and repair.
- Provides technical guidance and expertise on inspection and integrity-related matters.
- Stays up-to-date with industry best practices, codes, and standards.
- Mentors and train junior inspection engineers.
- Prepares comprehensive inspection reports, including findings, recommendations, and corrective
- action plans.
- Maintains accurate inspection records and documentation.
- Ensures timely submission of inspection reports to relevant stakeholders.
- Develops and implements corrosion control strategies.
- Monitors and assesses corrosion rates and mitigation measures.
- Collaborates with corrosion engineers to prevent corrosion-related issues.
- Assists in the development and implementation of section policies, processes, and procedures to
- ensure all relevant procedural / legislative requirements are fulfilled.
- Monitors the day-to-day operations of Inspection Section to ensure that work processes are
- implemented as designed and comply with established standards and procedures.
- Contributes to the development of Reliability Maintenance Division’s overall short/long term
- maintenance plans and supports effective implementation of approved plans.
- Plans, schedules, executes, and controls vibration monitoring programs & other Inspection
- techniques and ensures timely completion of tasks as per defined procedures & standards for all rotating equipment’s at onshore & offshore production facilities.
- Supervises the technicians engaged in the collection of vibration measurements and other critical
- parameters associated with major rotating equipment of plant (large compressors, gas turbines,
- blowers, fans, generators, high voltage electrical motors, multi-stage process pumps, steam traps
- etc.) to enable accurate/timely diagnosis of trended data in accordance with the approved annual
- preventive maintenance plans.
- Leads the development of detailed vibration analysis report (along with other process parameters data analysis) to assist in decision making whilst updating vibration and maintenance history in the database software.
- Ensures data from inspection programs is accurately analyzed & interpreted and initiates the necessary actions and improvements to reduce the maintenance cost of rotary and electrical equipment’s in the most effect way while recommending new technology & techniques to improve existing system.
- Conducts Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for reoccurring and critical problems of rotary equipment’s, recommends modifications and supports their implementation to improve equipment performance, reliability and availability.
- Analyses & assesses equipment maintenance requirements based on inspection results & review of machine history records and coordinates RCM division to initiate immediate correction for reoccurring breakdowns and issues that could lead to potential equipment failures.
- Leads the review, updating and implementation of the Risk Based Inspection (RBI) methodology, to enhance plant integrity and reliability ensuring effective risk mitigation and completion of tasks as per HSE procedures.
- Strictly follows established environmental, health, safety and quality policies and procedures in order to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/services and a responsible environmental attitude.
- Undertakes accountabilities in the operational excellence process as set out in the schedule of responsibilities.
- Contributes to the processes of continuous improvement for the area assigned.
- Performs any other relevant task as directed by Manager Project & Facilities Planning.
Qualifications

Education, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations and/or Experience
- 10 plus years related experience, covering Engineering/Inspection operations preferably in oil & gas sector organization.
- Academic background includes a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Three internationally recognized professional certifications from one or more of the following organizations: API (such as 510, 570, 580, 653, etc), ASNT Level III, NACE.
