This is an executive search on behalf of a leading residential specialty subcontractor in Dallas, Texas. The company is a major player in its industry, known for its vertical integration, operational efficiency, and strong relationships with both clients and vendors. With a rich history and a robust track record, the company is poised for continued growth, and we are seeking a President to lead them into their next phase of development.
Position Overview: President
The President will be responsible for leading the Company’s strategic initiatives, driving operational efficiencies, and spearheading growth opportunities through both organic expansion and acquisition. This role will require a hands-on leader who can balance strategic vision with practical implementation, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability. The President will work closely with the senior leadership team and the Company’s investment partners to ensure long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive strategic initiatives and identify growth opportunities, including potential acquisitions.
- Optimize operational efficiencies, focusing on process improvements, cost reductions, and lean management.
- Lead post-acquisition integrations, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with the Company’s existing operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, clients, and key stakeholders.
- Develop and refine strategies that position the Company for continued market leadership.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
Candidate Profile:
Must Have:
- Proven leadership experience managing a P&L.
- Track record of successfully managing significant business growth in Lower Middle Market or Middle Market businesses.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Experience in team building, hiring, and change management.
- Expertise in developing and executing business strategies.
- Acquisition and integration experience
- Experience in or around the residential construction industry (working with or for homebuilders, subcontractors, suppliers, etc.)

Compensation: $250k base, KPI bonus target of $150k-$200k, and long-term incentives tied to growth opportunities.
