Weichert, Realtors® is hiring a Vice President of Agent Talent. The Vice President of Agent Talent Sourcing is responsible for training, developing, and supporting residential sales managers and leadership on Sales Associate recruiting. The position manages recruiting related projects and training programs with a strong focus on Brand X. The position oversees the overall Sales Associate recruiting process and provide needed recruiting support to the field on an ongoing basis.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Develops, implements, and oversees strategic recruiting initiatives and projects that result in the sourcing and hiring of a large volume of new and experienced sales associate candidates who are committed to pursuing careers in real estate.
- Conducts new sales manager orientation and training on recruiting which include selling Weichert to both new and Brand X sales associates.
- Produces and facilitates ongoing skill building for all skill levels of residential sales managers and other residential sales field personnel hired with a recruiting focus.
- Leads, trains and certifies all sales managers on the company compensation plan.
- Manages, trains, and onboards the Regional Recruiters to ensure that they understand the Weichert Way, our recruiting tools, systems and standards. Works with their RVP to determine what offices to focus on and holds each Regional Recruiter accountable to their results.
- Provides orientation and ongoing training to Assistant Sales Managers and other field roles that have recruiting responsibilities to ensure that they understand the Weichert Way, our recruiting tools, systems and standards.
- Provides training, guidance and oversees the recruiting function in myWeichert.
- Runs daily call sessions.
- Maintains brand intelligence.
- Runs frequent sales manager webinar series on tips, best practices and competitive advantages on recruiting against and from a different brand. Rotates brands and brings updated intelligence and speaking points.
- Drives recruiting initiatives and related marketing materials and campaigns. Acts as the recruiting collateral content and materials subject matter expert.
- Closely manages the performance of projects assigned to the Recruiting team.
- Oversees the recruiting lead distributions.
- Partners with the Regional Vice Presidents of Weichert, Realtors, to apprise them of the developments, plans, progress, and results in growing the sales forces of their respective regions.
- Utilizes company reports to identify Sales Managers who need additional recruiting training support. Proactively partners with RVPs to establish training plans and works one-on-one with struggling Sales Managers. Provides periodic updates on status to RVPs on the development of these individuals along with any additional recommended activities and follow-up.
- Provides timely communication and reporting with respect to activities, results, project status, training achievements, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Real Estate license preferred
- Ten (10) or more years of sales management and/or recruiting experience required
- Real estate experience preferred
- Understanding of full life cycle recruiting practices with the ability to autonomously self-manage the sales recruiting process across each stage of the life cycle
- Ability to identify and solve problems independently, as well as strong ability to make appropriate decisions for candidate selection and rejection
- Ability to identify key business needs, and select candidates that most effectively meet those priorities
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong presentation skills (written and verbal) with an ability to command an audience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Good people management skills
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and fractions
