SUMMARY
The position of Warehouse Operations Manager is primarily responsible for the full spectrum of operational managers related to the receipt, put away, and dispatch of goods coming in and out of the warehouse.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage day-to-day operations in product & vendor management, receiving, warehousing, inventory, and picking/shipping operations
- Creating processes and procedures that follow the our Quality Policy
- Must have a customer first mentality
- Knowledge of the safety requirements for employee health and safety
- Understand our warehouse cycle process flow and find ways to make each department more efficient through continuous improvement
- Familiar with radio frequency hand held scanners
- Provides proper instruction to supervisor/associates to ensure that training, safety, quality and personnel needs are met, in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Maintain continuous cycle count operation to monitor the accuracy and efficiency of inventory record system
- Monitor the ongoing maintenance and service of all vehicles in the warehouse
- Interfaces with necessary departments to ensure timely and accurate receipt of products and to resolve discrepancies
- Understand all functions and departmental duties
- Continuously check employee work and provide feedback as needed
- Must be flexible to the ever-changing needs of the operation
- Must be able to work with and process many different situations at any given time by prioritizing them and efficiently resolving each in a timely manner
- Proficient in Microsoft office, and experience with warehouse management systems
- Recommends solutions to reduce spending
- Coordinate with Management and Human Resources regarding necessary workplace training
- Use the hiring process to create and grow a central warehouse team
- Conduct periodic supervisors meeting to review costumer complaints, shipment and receiving data, discuss issues, and provide guidance as needed
- Provide periodic reports to upper management regarding operations, needs, and changes occurring within the warehouse
- Promote positive working relationships with all employees and communicate effectively company policies
QUALIFICATIONS
- Leadership & Interpersonal skills to lead & work effectively with others in a multicultural environment
- Strong Human Resources Skills
- Strong Administrative Skills
- Minimum Associates Degree or Technical School. Bachelor’s preferred
- Good computer skills Excel, Word, Power Point
- Self-motivated with ability to prioritize, paying attention to the details that matter most
- General familiarity with facilities maintenance
- Minimum 5-10 years’ related experience
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
COMPENSATION:$95,000-$100,000
