The School Manager will oversee day-to-day operations at the Central Campus of FBC. This includes supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and coaching school-based staff. The Manager will also represent FBC at assigned IEP meetings, coordinate campus safety drills, and support the ASU TVI Program as needed. Site Managers are responsible for the development of instructional staff and programs.
Duties include:
- Train and coach Central Campus staff on the implementation and fidelity of FBC’s instructional framework for the preschool classrooms
- Serve as FBC representative at assigned IEP meetings for the Central Campus
- Train and coach staff on the implementation and fidelity of FBC’s instructional framework in Preschool and Elementary Education classrooms.
- Collaborate with Program Coach, complete classroom walkthroughs, and develop mentor/coaching plans for Teachers
- Serves as a resource to Teachers and educational staff to problem-solve and create therapeutic strategies to enhance environmental access and participation in learning for all students to support the IEP
- Assist with the preparation and implementation of all professional development for FBC School Based staff
- Coordinate student specialized transportation per the IEP.
- Serve on the School Based Services leadership team
- Evaluation of Central Campus school-based staff
- Assist with medical emergencies at the Central Campus
- Assist with all safety drills at the Central Campus
- Support ASU TVI program as a mentor as needed
- Establish and maintain good rapport with students, employees, community members and vendors.
- Maintain a high level of ethical behavior, professional conduct, and confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Applicant Requirements:
- Minimum three years of experience in a classroom setting working with severe/profound students needing intensive supports
- Certified Teacher of the Visually Impaired or Special Education Teacher
- Supervisory experience is preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Arizona fingerprint clearance card or the ability to obtain within 90 days
- Valid Arizona Driver’s License
