Job Description: Senior Java Developer (Contractor Role)
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer for a contractor position to work on a key initiative. The selected candidate will be responsible for making updates to the Java application, including modifications to business logic, user interface enhancements, extending reporting capabilities, and evolving the system data model. The role involves supporting application enhancements, defect corrections, and maintenance tasks across multiple environments. Responsibilities include coding, testing, conducting peer reviews, documenting, performing defect root cause analysis, and troubleshooting as needed. The developer will be required to maintain code coverage, adhere to testing and security policies, and provide on-call support as necessary. Additional duties may be assigned as required by the unit operations.
Candidate Skills and Qualifications
Required Skills:
- 8 Years : Experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) using Java.
- 8 Years : Experience in applications development on the J2EE platform.
- 8 Years : Experience in writing SQL for relational databases.
- 8 Years : Experience in RESTful web services on the Spring platform.
- 8 Years : Experience working with Spring Aspect Oriented Programming, including transaction management and security.
- 8 Years : Experience with JUnit and Unit Test development.
- 4 Years : Experience with Angular UI Framework.
- 4 Years : Experience with Crystal Reports.
- 4 Years : Experience with PowerBI.
