Contractor needed in Aerospace / UAM Aircraft
Role: Systems Test Engineer
Location: California, US
I'm currently working with a leading Aerospace organization involved in cutting-edge Uncrewed Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and advanced aerospace systems & the organization is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join their dynamic team and support ongoing UAV projects.
In this onsite role, you'll work with test rig engineers and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of tests on aircraft systems or integrated test rigs.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute, monitor, and record data for test procedures.
- Troubleshoot and correct errors in testing.
- Support the test rig engineers and maintenance team.
- Provide daily end-of-shift reports to the primary
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or related)
- 5+ years of experience in the aerospace/automotive industry
- Understanding of aircraft or integrated test rigs
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience with aircraft systems, avionics, and test automation tools could be preferred
- Knowledge of safety protocols.
Contractor opportunity for 6-12 months (extension or direct hire could be considered)
