Role Description:
The part-time hybrid role and the person will be working under the general direction of the Principal Investigator. The research coordinator will be essential in facilitating and coordinating the research projects within our organization. The research coordinator will work with the Beautywell staff, community partners, and ethnic media to advance the project's goals. Also, the role involves coordinating the conduction, analysis, and reporting of research data and ensuring compliance with Institutional Review Board (IRB) guidelines. Helping advance the mission of Beautywell. The Research Coordinator will also maintain schedules, attend meetings, and conduct outreaches and educational sessions in our communities. This position offers the opportunity to significantly contribute to the research process and Beautywell's overall mission of combating colorism, skin-lightening practices, and chemical exposures, as well as improving the health outcomes of the impacted communities.
Role Responsibilities:
· Coordinate and manage all aspects of research projects from inception to completion
· Develop and maintain project timelines
· Facilitate communication among project team members, community partners, and government partners
· Ensure compliance with all the regulatory and ethical guidelines related to the research activities
· Conduct literature review and prepare reports
· Facilitate focus group sessions, key informant interviews, and analyze data
· Outreach and education sessions in communities
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in public health, community health, social work, sociology, relevant field.
· Two years experience in research coordination or related work area
· Analytical skills, research, and data collection proficiency
· Strong Communication skills
· Familiarity with Institutional Review Board (IRB) processes
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively
· Experience in public health

· Written and verbal communication skills
· Organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
· Experience in facilitation skills
