Job Title: Order Management Specialist
Job Overview: The Order Management Specialist plays a crucial role in processing orders, managing customer interactions, and ensuring the timely delivery of products. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to provide excellent customer service. Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential to excel in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately input and manage data within the order and customer management system (SAP).
- Register new customers and update existing records in SAP.
- Process and update customer orders in SAP, provide Estimated Time of Shipment (ETS) dates, and confirm receipt of Purchase Orders (POs) within 48 hours.
- Collaborate with the purchasing department and use various SAP functions to determine product-specific lead times.
- Communicate order confirmations and estimated shipping dates to customers.
- Generate Proforma Invoices for customer orders.
- Verify product availability and provide accurate lead times.
- Cross-reference part numbers to ensure the accuracy of customer purchase orders.
- Confirm pricing accuracy on customer purchase orders.
- Provide general administrative support to the management team.
- Coordinate with the Sales Organization to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree preferred, but not mandatory.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office and excellent PC skills.
- Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Spanish language skills are a plus, but not required.
- Experience with SAP is highly desirable.
- Ability to organize, manage, and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
