DESCRIPTION:
*Identification, management, configuration, integration and implementation of hardware and software used for alerting and monitoring, automation, service management, infrastructure and software support. Understanding of future departmental strategy and how technology aligns with that direction. Participate in departmental initiatives between various IT and Business groups. Understanding of operational technologies and platforms and how they interact with other departments and processes. Provide technical excellence on tool capabilities and departmental processes and philosophies. *Keep the business running through system maintenance, support and monitoring of hardware and software infrastructure. Participate in incident response including major incident and disaster recovery. Use machine learning, data analytics and artificial intelligence to predict and prevent potential outages. *Collaborate with business and IT to identify, assist with design and development of process automation and orchestration utilizing continuous improvement, workflows, artificial intelligence and machine learning platforms. Articulate automation capabilities to technical and non-technical audiences and consistently demonstrate clear technical judgement and innovation.
SKILLS:
• Experience in organizationally approved scripting and markup languages (e.g. PowerShell, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, JSON) • Experience with automation tools and ability to automate processes where ever possible and create new technologies when needed. • • • Understanding of data analytics capabilities. Strong research, analytical, decision making, troubleshooting and problem solving skills. • Strong ability to incorporate LEAN principles, continuous improvement; including design and support of process workflows, document management, collaboration tools and platforms.
