We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Inventory Control Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records for our manufacturing company. Your primary goal will be to ensure that inventory levels are optimized, and that materials and products are readily available for production and shipment.

Position Title: Inventory Control Associate
Classification Status: Non-exempt
Status: Full-time, regular
Reports to: Production Department Manager
Salary Range: $41,600. - $54,080./annually
Work Schedule: Onsite (no hybrid work option)
Essential Job Duties:
· Record keeping: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software. Analyze inventory data to identify trends and make recommendations for inventory optimization. Prepare and maintain inventory reports as directed by management.
· Cycle Counts: Conduct regular physical inventory counts to reconcile with system records. Develop a cycle count schedule with the assistance of procurement and production department managers.
· Inventory Discrepancies: Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions. Quarantine defective product and make corresponding adjustments in our ERP. Collaborate with the procurement department and vendors regarding replacement or credit and make appropriate adjustments in the ERP system to resolve inventory discrepancies.
· Inventory management: Coordinate with purchasing and production teams to ensure timely and accurate receipt of materials and products. Assist procurement department with supply demands including replenishing supplies.
· Control measures: Develop and implement inventory control procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
· Forecasting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast inventory needs and plan for production requirements. Monitor and track inventory levels to prevent under and overstocking.
· Shipping & Receiving: Coordinate with shipping and receiving teams to ensure accurate and timely shipment of products. Assist with inspection of incoming shipments and products.
· Collaboration: Assist with receiving duties, as necessary. Assist department manager, supervisor, and other departments, as necessary.
· Not a supervisory position.

Qualifications:

· 3+ year’s proven experience in inventory control or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
· Certification in related field is preferred but not required.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Proficient in using inventory management software such as Sage 100 or related ERP/CRM.
· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
· Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and prioritize tasks effectively.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
· Current computer skills in Microsoft office, with strong excel experience preferred.
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend, and move freely from one department to another.
- Must be able to lift 60 pounds unassisted.
· Clear DMV record, current valid driver license, reliable transportation as supplier visits may be necessary.
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions/temperatures (the workstation is located in our production department).
· Legally authorized to work in the USA.
· Ability to read, write, and speak English at a level that is sufficient to perform the essential functions of this position.
· Successful completion and satisfactory results of background check, drug screen, and completion of new hire forms/welcome orientation meeting, as a condition to employment.
