Our client is a leading partner in the Epicor space. They focus on delivering information technology services to enterprise customers. They sell ERP software, implement, and support customers in the manufacturing area. Your role will be to take their customers through an ERP implementation cycle, providing software expertise and business knowledge while adhering to their internal methodologies. Other tasks may include, but are not limited to, documenting designs based on gaps encountered between customer requirements and base application functionality, data massaging and conversion, business process reviews, system testing and go live support. Expect 40-50% travel to client locations depending on project requirements
Preferred Requirements
- Appropriate financial certifications or relevant experience (CFO, Controller, CPA, etc.)
- At least three years consulting experience or client experience with multiple rollouts
- Been involved in atleast three Epicor ERP implementations
- Ability to travel as needed to support projects (typically 40-50%)
- Strong customer facing communication skills in person and in writing
- Proven ability to identify gaps, and translate those into written functional requirement requests
- At least one implementation with Multi-Company including financials consolidations and the user of global master data
- Excellent teaching style from shop floor to C level
- Able to accurately forecast from discovery meetings the appropriate level of effort needed for education sessions, workshops, or implementations based on customers current state and skill level
Epicor specific knowledge
- Ability to stand up a Company, both stand alone, or in a multi company environment.
- Ability to setup up, train, and implement the GL, AP, AR, and FA modules
- Experience with tax management - ideally Avalara
- Multi Site setup
- Experience with Payroll
- ACH setup and configuration
- Knowledge of the Project Management Module with Advanced Billing
- Able to produce key financial reports out of the box - Trial Balance, P&L, Income Statement, etc - knowledge of other Financial reporting tools such as Spreadsheet Server, XL Connect, Epicor Financial Planning and Analysis, EDA a plus
- Understand how to perform a month end, and year end close process
- Able to talk to Cash Management and Budgeting
- Produce a Business Process Review document that details current state, and a future state with recommendations to move to Epicor ERP out of the box for Financials
- Costing experience - Standard, Average, FIFO, LastEngineering experience over several verticals, able to construct methods of manufacturing with deep BOMs, or assemblies
- Can provide AP/AR training, and assist with tasks like WIP, Job Costing, GL Setup, Financial Report generation and Month End Close
- DMT experience in loading master and transactional data for pilots and cutover
- Experience with Core ERP Quote to Cash and the financial touchpoints throughout - GL, AP, AR, Quoting, Sales Orders, Job Management, Shipping, Purchasing and Receiving
