The IT Infrastructure Manager willplay a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing our organization's hardware and network activities. This position requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of IT infrastructure management and the ability to coordinate complex technical initiatives.
- Infrastructure Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business objectives and future scalability.
- Hardware Management: Oversee the procurement, deployment, and maintenance of hardware systems, including servers, storage, and end-user devices.
- Network Administration: Manage and optimize the organization's network infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and performance. Collaborate with network engineers to address connectivity issues and enhance overall network efficiency.
- Project Coordination: Lead and coordinate IT infrastructure projects from conception to completion. This includes new system implementations, upgrades, and expansions.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors to procure hardware and network services, negotiate contracts, and ensure service-level agreements are met.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Provide guidance and support for technical issues related to hardware and network infrastructure. Collaborate with the IT support team to resolve complex problems promptly.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline. Advanced degrees or certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or ITIL are preferred.
- 7-10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on coordinating hardware and network activities. Strong technical understanding of hardware systems, networking protocols, and security principles.
