Job Description:
Seeking experienced Survey CAD Technicians to join our team! The ideal candidates will perform professional-level technical work using computerized drafting and drawing systems with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform technical work using computerized drafting and drawing systems.
- Prepare design drawings and specifications for survey and mapping projects.
- Create computerized drawing files and plots, including line types, arcs, curves, and text.
- Compile automated drawings from field notes, sketches, or other automated outputs.
- Accurately replicate dimensions, angles, and other precise measurements and specifications.
- Automate design specifications, drawings, and diagrams related to plans, field surveying, construction inspection, field data collection, and engineering computations.
- Use computer plotters and symbol sets in the drafting process.
- Perform surveys for residential construction/mortgage, ALTA, as-built, boundary, bathymetric/hydrographic, construction, development, environmental, residential/commercial, and topographic surveys.
- Apply knowledge of algebra, trigonometry, geometry, and computer software in performing basic engineering and survey computations.
- Act as a team player, fulfilling your own responsibilities and supporting others as needed to help the team meet deadlines and complete tasks.
- Understand legal descriptions terminology.
Experience Required:
- Graduation from high school or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of computerized design and drafting experience, or relevant education or training.
- AutoCAD 3D experience preferred.
- FEMA Elevation Certificate experience is a plus.

Additional Information:
- This position is M-F with occasional weekend or overtime work required.
- Pay is based on experience and will be increased following a 90-day evaluation.
