Essential Functions:

Diagnose equipment failures, find root cause, and communicate actions taken to the rest of the team.
Performs a variety of preventative maintenance on parts, pumps, motors, die cutter machines, hydraulic systems, conveyors, steam systems, and related plant and facility equipment
Follow all aspects of Maintenance Safety protocol (LOTO and 5-S), to ensure that the maintenance team operates safely at all times
Reads, reviews, and applies blueprints, schematics, and operating manuals to fix, repair, and maintain equipment.
Reads and writes electrical drawings
Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules and within standard times.
Organize and maintain a high degree of cleanliness in the maintenance area as well as performing spares inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
Perform equipment repairs and rebuilds.
Recommend countermeasures to prevent repetitive breakdowns.
Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, scissor lifts, forklifts, hand tools, welding and power tools.
Repairs or replaces defective parts, using hand tools and power tools, etc.
Installs special functional and structural parts in devices, and tests their performance.
Work with subcontractors in the repair of production and facility equipment
Order repair parts and supplies
Carries out day-to-day work following the departments continuous improvement plan

Minimum Experience:

Minimum 2 years of Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance experience. Or at the discretion of the hiring manager
High school diploma or GED
Trade school for Mechanics/ CNC Or at the discretion of the hiring manager
Knowledge of aerospace specifications, quality codes and standards
Ability to read, write and understand blueprints
Effectively uses power and hand tools
Able to work within specific time lines meeting critical deadlines
Must be accurate and detailed with minimum errors
Basic Computer literacy required and knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook & maintenance databases
Perform job with minimum of supervision
Work within a team environment
Respond with sensitivity to people of diverse perspectives
Ability to communicate with other employees, providing feedback and responses to questions
Assist in training of new maintenance staff or subcontractors
