Job Description
We have an opening for a Sheet Metal Shop Foreman/Fabricator. The job duties will consist of, but not be limited to the following:
- Selecting gauge and type of sheet metal according to the project specifications
- Laying out and marking dimensions and reference lines on material to develop and trace patterns for ducts and fittings.
- Setting up and operating fabricating machines, such as shears, brakes, presses, forming rolls.
- Shaping metal materials over anvil, blocks, or other forms
- Trimming, filing, grinding, buffing, and smoothing surfaces
- Welding, soldering, bolting, riveting, screwing, clipping, caulking, or bonding component parts to assemble products.
- Operating a computerized Iowa Precision Coil Line
- Operating a computerized Vicon Plasma Table
- Commercial Field installation experience a plus
Experience:
- Sheet Metal Duct Fabrication: 5 years (Required)
