The Lab Assistants accurately accession patient sample information into the Laboratory Information Management System.
Responsibilities:
· Review all information is accurate and meets company standards
· Accurately accession patient sample information and physician test orders according to requisitions
· Accept deliveries from couriers
· Provide oversight of orders on requisitions on pre-accessioned samples
· Identify missing information and execute proper route as necessary
· Provide oversight of physician/patient information required by HIPPA/CLIA/CAP and best practices
· Scan patient requisitions for medical records
· Maintain an error rate below .10% with a goal of zero errors per month
