Job Summary
We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our Data Science team. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on professional with a strong background in data science, ready to drive innovation and assist in developing next-generation data solutions for the automotive industry. This role involves close collaboration with the automotive analytics team to design and develop enterprise analytic solutions, leveraging advanced analytics to address specific industry challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Automotive Analytics Team: Work closely with the team to ensure a thorough understanding of automotive data and its implications.
- Define Analytic Strategies: Develop and implement strategies that meet business requirements and solve specific industry questions.
- Technical and Data Requirements: Identify and document the technical and data requirements necessary for the development of analytic solutions.
- Conduct Sophisticated Analyses: Perform complex analyses and build models as required, ensuring results are clear and actionable for business decision-makers.
- Lead Project Plans: Oversee project plans and collaborate with Application Developers to deploy models into operational systems.
- Integrate Advanced Analytics: Incorporate advanced analytics into end-to-end business intelligence solutions and operational business processes.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree in applied statistics, mathematics, data science, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 3+ years of professional experience in data science.
- 3+ years of experience using Python
- 3+ years of experience with machine learning methodologies such as regression, decision trees, time series analysis, and NLP.
- Expertise in SQL and relational databases.
Skills:
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand and document business processes, influence process improvement, and evaluate new analytic possibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive experience working with IT Development teams to implement analytic application/solution development.
- Experience in the automotive industry.
